A good wine cellar keeps the wine at a fairly low temperature, with a decent amount of humidity, and in relative darkness. The term wine cellar is often used to describe anywhere meant to protect wine for a prolonged period of time, but should strictly refer to an actual below-ground cellar. A wine cellar that is above ground is more properly called a wine room, and the smaller wine fridges many people use in their homes are wine closets.

Within the scope of an actual wine cellar, there are two main types: passive cellars and active cellars. Many people find that they can convert a spare closet into a functional wine cellar without spending too much money or time. The most important thing is simply to keep the wine cool, and at a steady temperature. Ideally, wine will be kept at somewhere around 50° F (10° C), with no more than a few degrees variation year-round.

Many companies now also offer small electric wine cellars, which are really wine closets or wine refrigerators. These come in many different sizes, and at a number of different price points. The smallest hold only a few bottles, while larger stand-alones may hold more than 100 bottles. The cheaper standup wine cellars regulate only the temperature of the wines, with some having two different "zones," one for red and one for white. More expensive standup wine cellars keep the wines at a constant humidity as well, which may or may not help protect natural corks from drying out and damaging the wine.

Some companies will also come to your house and convert a closet or spare room into your very own wine cellar. They install added insulation, temperature monitors, and some type of humidifier. Many consumers find that these conversions can be surprisingly affordable.

One other alternative to a traditional wine cellar exists for those who want to protect their wines, but don't want to invest in digging out their own cellar or finding a natural cave. Many self-storage facilities offer temperature- and humidity-controlled environments for a monthly price. This can be a surprisingly effective way to keep a large number of wines protected for years on end, although it is a good idea to make sure the temperature range is truly stable, and ideally to find a unit that offers some sort of insurance for the goods that you store there.

Early detection and intervention by parents, medical professionals, and school personnel greatly improve a child's chances of learning success. A person with a learning disability simply learns differently and once their learning abilities and limitations are understood, it is easier for the student and teacher to engage in the learning process.

Há mais de 5 anos não vejo o programa do Faustão, por falta de tempo e por não ter interesse também e sei que a linha que ele adotou é popularesca, de má qualidade e de gosto duvidoso. Mas neste mês de julho/2009 resolvi tentar ver novamente. Para minha surpresa não é que o programa do Faustão piorou! Ligo a tv e vejo no palco um boi vindo de São Tiago, uma cidade pequena de Minas Gerais, Faustão diz que o boi é ensinado, parece um cachorrinho que segue o dono por todos os cantos da fazenda, resolve passar um vídeo mostrando algo que qualquer bovino acostumado com o tratador faz, nada de extraordinário, o boi apenas segue seu dono, na esperança de ganhar algo p/ comer. Logo Faustão diz que ele vai fazer uma demonstração no palco, mas parece que o boi não tá nem aí com seu dono, com o Faustão e muito menos com o programa e as câmeras , então Faustão diz, para não ficar sem graça, que logo voltaria depois dos comerciais.
Na volta o boi já não estava lá mais, a desculpa que ele deu foi que ele foi embora para os bastidores, rs, Faustão para segurar o programa começa a fazer perguntas para o dono do sitio e logo chega aos nomes dos netos e ali começa a chatice do homem dizer os nomes de todos os 30 netos, é lógico que não consegue lembrar de todos e é auxiliado por sua mulher que termina de dizer os nomes. Tudo isso levou mais de 15 minutos no ar em rede nacional, realmente uma babaquice sem tamanho, resultado o programa vai de mal a pior. Com tantas opções hoje em dia com a internet, tv paga e os inúmeros canais abertos, a melhor resposta que eu, você e o publico podemos dar é um belo clique no programa (desligar a TV) ou mudar de canal, ou fazer alguma coisa bem melhor que isso, tenho certeza que não teremos dificuldades em fazer isso. Desta forma, é a única saída que temos para que eles nos respeitem, produzam programas de qualidade para nós brasileiros. Sem falar que uma estação de televisão é uma concessão do estado que deve promover a cultura e educação e os valores familiares como estabelece a constituição brasileira federal. Mas acima de tudo força maior temos cada um de nós, o povo, poder de ditar as regras nas estruturas da sociedade e do estado. Da mesma forma que o povo dá audiência a um programa ele pode tirá-la, a mídia é controlada pela sociedade, assim falo que pode haver transformação desde uma mudança de programa de televisão até de governo. Vou novamente abordar o assunto sobre luzes que aparecem no céu, eventos que ocorrem que muitas pessoas insistem que é disco voador, ET, OVNIs, etc. Esta aqui é a segunda parte pois se vc não leu falo de outros fenômenos como bola de fogo no céu, estrelas que caem, etc rm outro assunto abordado aqui no blog. hoje vou falar de luzes que se movimentam a baixa altitude as vezes são vermelhas, verdes e amarelas ou alaranjadas. Já vi varias na minha cidade. Uma vez levei um grande susto estava andando de madrugada por uma rua deserta da cidade e de repente uns 200 metros de distancia de mim olho para o ceu e uma luz verde riscou uma parte do ceu deixando um rastro semelhante a um cometa, realmente para alguem disavisado seria uma sonda espacial, um disco voador querendo abduzir alguem. Qualquer um poderia associar isso a uma coisa do outro mundo, mas a explicação é simples, já cansei de ver isso aqui na minha cidade.
explicação: aqui há muitos morcegos e corujas que voam de noite, então quando os raios de luz dos postes refletem neles provocam este fenômeno, a impressão é que vc esta vendo uma luz que se movimenta no céu. E como o efeito é muito rápido o cerebro da pessoa encarrega que imaginar uma cor falsa para aquilo, geralmente o fenomeno das cores é muito simples, o nosso cerebro costuma completar aquilo que falta informação para ele, isto é bom, mas as vezes nos prega muitas peças e sustos. é o fenomeno da persistência visual. Então torna o acontecimento ainda mais fantastico, por isso é que quando mais de uma pessoa vê um fenomeno como este descreve de forma diferente, dizendo que era uma luz verde, vermelha, azul, amarela, azul etc, que tinha a forma de um charuto, bola, cometa etc. Voltando a explicação tudo não passa de corujas e morcegos inocentes que voam durante a noite sobre a cidade a procura de alimentos para sua sobrevivência. Espero que isso posso ajudar muitas pessoas com suas visões fantasticas.
